ANASTASIOU MISSERI is a design-led architectural studio based in Cyprus, with projects delivered across the island. We approach architecture as a dialogue with place, people and time. Our way of thinking and working is diverse, as every project holds its own narrative, with a different nature and purpose defined by the social, cultural, and historical context.
Founded in 2020 by Michalis Anastasiou and Stephanie Misseri, the practice engages in a diverse range of projects across scales and typologies with a strong sense of identity and individuality. Our work spans a variety of sectors including interiors, private residential, hospitality, civic, and historical buildings, and is always rooted in precision, intention, and material purity.
Our buildings have been shortlisted and won numerous awards, including the State Architecture Prize in the ‘Project by Young Architects’ category in both 2025 and 2022. In 2019, the studio won the architectural competition for the Akamas Visitor Centers.
We believe architecture should be both inventive and enduring, delivering projects that are beautifully conceived and finely crafted. We prioritize design that balances intuition and analysis, aiming for spaces that feel considered.
We value craft and care in the process of building. We are committed to sustainable and context-sensitive design by working with restraint, using local and natural materials wherever possible, and embracing what already exists. For us, architecture is not just an outcome but a practice of responsibility—to clients, collaborators, and the built environment.
We provide architectural and interior design services, from initial stages to construction and final completion. We treat each project as a whole, developing it from start to finish at every phase with precision and consistency.
